Student Health Services will be closed Friday July 3, 2009 in observance of Independence Day.

 

SHS is pleased to offer an open access appointment system.  You have 3 ways to schedule an appointment:

 

 *Same day appointments are not guaranteed.  Please allow 24 hours to cancel an appointment.

Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Hours may vary on holidays and semester breaks; call 813-974-2331 for current information).

USF is actively monitoring the swine flu situation and is working closely with local and state agencies, including the Florida Department of Health.  To register for swine flu updates from the Florida Department of Health visit http://www.doh.state.fl.us/DEMO/php/FluInfo.htm.  Florida residents can also call The Florida Flu Information Line at (800) 342-3557 to receive health information about the swine flu.

When SHS is closed, one of our staff doctors is always on call @ (813) 974-2331.

 

 LOCATION AND HOURS

Student Health Services (SHS) is located east of the Marshall Student Center and the Bookstore and north of the Student Services Building. SHS accepts the USF sponsored Student Insurance Plan and more than 100 other private health insurance plans.  For charges not covered by insurance payment options include Visa/MasterCard credit or debit cards and transfer to your OASIS account. SHS cannot accept cash or checks. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Hours may vary on holidays and semester breaks; call 813-974-2331 for current information). Student Health Services is closed on weekends. After hours telephone consultation (813-974-2331) with a physician is available for emergency medical concerns.
