Women's Clinic
The GYN team includes female Board Certified Physican Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and support staff committed to providing comprehensive women's health care to our female students in a supportive and comfortable environment.
To maintain their health, all women are encouraged to have annual gynecological examinations, whether or not they are sexually active. Appointments for any GYN problem may be made by calling 813-974-7474. If you are an established patient at the Women's Clinic, you can call the Women's Clinic hotline at 813-974-1823 with any questions you may have. Fees vary according to the services received. Ask for explanation of fees when you make your appointment.
GYN Services Provided:
- Routine Well Woman Exam - a head to toe physical examination with pap smear and other indicated testing.
- Care for common gynecologic problems such as irregular cycles, excessive bleeding, breast lumps, Urinary Tract Infections (UTI's), Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), PCOS and other special problems.
- STI testing, diagnosing, and treatment.
- Pregnancy testing, counseling and referrals for further care.
- Contraceptive counseling, information, prescription, and follow-up.
- Emergency Contraception (Morning After Pill)
- Expert HPV assessment
- Management of abnormal pap smears including colposcopy
- Emergency Contraceptive Pills
- Care of menopausal women
- Referral when indicated or desired
