Health Promotion

What is Health Promotion?

SHS Health Promotion is a department within Student Health Services (SHS).  The department functions as a resource for the university community regarding health and wellness issues and encourages responsible decision making and positive lifestyle choices. Health Promotion is staffed by health educators, a registered and licensed dietitian, and other support personnel. A variety of information on health topics, as well as free blood pressure, height, and weight readings are available. Services provided are free of charge unless otherwise stated, and offered upon request.
