“Safer Sex Party: A workshop on sexual responsibility & more!” This program is fun and interactive – perfect for a lively class who likes a fast-paced presentation. It gives a brief overview of STIs as well as some demonstrations on sexual responsibility techniques (how to correctly use a male/female condom etc.). This program is ideal for a class who enjoys hands-on learning and participation.
“Alcohol 101” This presentation is an interactive approach to getting the facts on alcohol use and abuse. With games, interactive videos, and even a virtual bar, we take alcohol awareness to a new level. Show us a class ready to learn and we’ll show you our beer goggles!
“SUI” This program cleverly combines “Alcohol 101” with “Safer Sex Party” by explaining how one is connected to the other. Sex Under the Influence is a hands-on workshop that shows how difficult it can be to make safer sex choices when under the influence of drugs or alcohol and some of the consequences that may result.
"Eat Smart, Live Smart" With so many crazy diets out there eating healthfully can be quite a challenge! This presentation offers knowledge and skills to help you eat well. Our registered dietitian dispels some of the common myths about eating, fad diets, and supplements and reviews the basics of how to eat well during college.
“The Naked Truth: STIs” This presentation takes a comprehensive look at Sexually Transmitted Infections (including HIV/AIDS) in a facts-based format. It follows an in-depth PowerPoint presentation, including detailed photographs and descriptions. This program is ideal for a class who prefers a content-heavy approach to sexual health and well-being.
“Choices” With so many contraceptives out there, it can be difficult to decide which is best for you. This presentation helps to break down the various contraception/safer sex options and lets you know the pros and cons of each. You can get the facts as well as learn about other health benefits various methods can provide. Although abstinence is the 100% method of birth control, this program is designed to give you info on all of the available options.
